  • 1.5 lbs salmon fillet, skin on or off
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced (half for baking, half for serving)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs, chopped (such as dill, parsley, thyme)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. 3Place asparagus on the baking sheet and drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  4. 4Arrange asparagus in a single layer.
  5. 5Place the salmon fillet on the baking sheet next to the asparagus.
  6. 6Drizzle the salmon with the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil.
  7. 7Rub minced garlic and chopped herbs onto the salmon.
  8. 8Top the salmon with lemon slices.
