  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 pound linguine or spaghetti
  1. 1Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. 3Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. 4Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  5. 5Pour in white wine and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
  6. 6Stir in lemon juice, parsley, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. 7Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the scampi sauce.
