Delicious Falafel Wrap
A flavorful and satisfying vegetarian wrap filled with crispy falafel, fresh vegetables, and creamy tahini sauce.

- 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour or chickpea flour
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cucumber
- Optional toppings: pickled onions, hot sauce
- 1Prepare the falafel: In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Process until a coarse paste forms.
- 2Add the flour and pulse until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 3Form the falafel mixture into small, flattened patties.
- 4Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 5Carefully place the falafel patties into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 6Remove the falafel from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- 7Prepare the tahini sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, water, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. Add more water if needed to reach desired consistency.
- 8Warm the tortillas according to package instructions.
- 9Assemble the wraps: Spread a generous amount of tahini sauce onto each tortilla.
- 10Top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, cucumber, and fried falafel patties.
- 11Add any optional toppings you like, such as pickled onions or hot sauce.
- 12Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll up tightly.
- 13Serve immediately.
